2009 Nissan Maxima

The 2009 Nissan Maxima gets redesigned for this model year wearing new exterior styling and delivering more power. The Maxima is available in two trim levels: 3.5 S ($29,950) and 3.5 SV ($32,650).
Under the hood is a 290-hp 3.5-liter V6 engine, improved by 35 hp over the previous Maxima model. A continuously variable automatic (CVT) is standard. Sport and manual modes, can be used with a manual shift gate or (optional) paddle shifters.
The Maximas headlights slant upwards, a wide signature grille rides on the hood. The car gets 18-inch alloy wheels as standard; fog lights and 19-inch wheels are optional. The Maxima has enhanced driving dynamics and agile handling from its wide track and shorter wheelbase, making it a great front-wheel-drive sedan.The 3.5 S trim comes well equipped with leather upholstery, sunroof, power front seats, 6-CD stereo and dual-zone automatic climate control. The 3.5 SV trim can be upgraded with a Sport or Premium package that features 19-inch wheels, woodgrain interior trim, heated leather seats, a leather steering wheel, and power rear sunshades. Safety features include ABS, traction control, an antiskid system, front side airbags, and curtain side airbags. Other optional equipment includes satellite radio, a 9.3 gigabyte hard drive; rear seat climate and audio controls; a rearview camera; an iPod interface system; heated front seats and a wireless cell phone link.

The 2009 Nissan Rogue

The 2009 Nissan Rogue includes a new features and options, but as it was introduced only in 2008, it remains largely unchanged for the new model year. The Rogue is a 4-door compact SUV that seats five, based on the same platform as Nissan's Sentra compact sedan. Two trims S ($21,000) and SL ($22,590) are available with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
The sole engine is a 175-hp 2.5-liter 4-cylinder, with continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). The SL trim offers steering wheel mounted paddles for manual shifting.
In profile, the Nissan Rogue resembles the Murano, with particular reference to its egg-crate grille and rising beltline ending at its D-pillar. The cabin features front bucket seats; the instrument panel has two large gauges with orange illumination; silver accents wrap around the vents and control knobs. A folding front passenger seat is optional; the second row features a 60/40-split folding bench seat, allowing for cargo volume of 28.9 cubic feet. Optional equipment includes wireless cell phone link, leather upholstery, heated front seats, sunroof, keyless entry, push-button start and xenon headlights.
